- Kayaking in Richardson Bay
- Movie night – Maiden: Tracy Edwards leads the first all-female crew in the Whitbread Round the World Race, a grueling yachting competition that covers 33,000 miles and lasts nine months! Featuring SF Bay’s sailing champion Dawn Riley.
- Movie Night – Master and Commander: he Far Side of the World is a 2003 American epic period war-drama film co-written, produced and directed by Peter Weir, set during the Napoleonic Wars. Filmed on board the HMS Rose, efforts are being made to have former crew members speak about their experience sailing Rose to Hollywood for filming.
Before I close, please know that our membership decreased during the pandemic significantly. Now, we need to work together to bring in new members. This will be easier than before in that Rotary rules changed so non-Rotarians can become IFYR members. Now is a change to b ring in spouses, friends and to encourage younger members to join us.
